    This song makes me feel stronger in the middle of a world full of stress. It give me what I need, just a song to shut down my mind, relax and to start again on whatever I have to do atm. It makes me think about my past, about what some people I lose said one day to me, and I just can say, imagine your life on your own way, so anybody can follow you and live it with fully pleasure, what ever you will do. The strongest thing is you and nobody can chance it. Thanks :)

    I remember reading that Meet Joe Black is one of those movies you’ll either love or hate, but I personally I have mixed feelings for this movie. In a way, it’s well written and touching, but at the same time I can’t help but wish it had different ending. For some reason, I just like sad endings more. I’ve probably watched Wuthering Heights too much.
    But the soundtrack is simply breathtaking, 2:17- 2:53 makes me drift away to another realm.

    @shoecrazywoman1 Totally agree.
    The Film is a Masterpiece. Brat Pitt, Anthony Hopkins and Claire Forlani played their Rolls fantastic!

    Who cares what its all about – Brad is just gorgeous to watch in this film and the music is soooo lovely. It has to be my all time favourite fim.

    I’ve always listened to the music from this soundtrack and loved it! I finally watched the movie yesterday and I have to say it is one of the best movies I think I’ve seen yet.

    the ending is simple . DEath took the guy in the coffe shops body because he needed one. throughout the movie the coffe shop guy is DEAD. At the end DEATH did a nice thing . He realized it was the guy in the coffee shop she felel in love with so basically brought him back to life. Thats why the coffe shop guy was so confused as to why he was at that party at the end , plus the girl says “i wish you could have known my father” !!!. making it blindingly obvious it was the coffee shop guy!!

    I just watched Meet Joe Black today and i cried at the end becuz of the music

  10. 5thgroupwannabe says:

    OMG people this is not the Usual Suspects. You are WAY overthinking this! Death left her to go do his job because he knew they could never be together and he left her the gift of the coffee shop guy to take care of her.

  11. MrSouthey says:

    @narinda Yeah, ok. But then the man who walks over the bridge is confused. His mannerism isn’t like an attentive child the way Joe is throughout the film so it leads me to believe that as a gift to her she gave him the man at the coffee shop because she couldn’t go with death.

  12. narinda says:

    @blahhhhhhhhh23 ok i’ve just read the wikipedia about this movie cus this ending part was bugging me! Apparently it is the coffee shop guy! At the end of the party he escorts Bill away, with Susan observing from a distance. She then is astonished to see Joe return, only to discover that he is the young man whose body Death used, and this is his first glimpse of her since the coffee shop. Susan says, “I wish you could have met my father,” knowing now that he is gone but that she is not alone.

  13. narinda says:

    @MrSouthey yes he says that but do you think thats joe black trying to pretend he will be the coffee shop guy for her?! Because as they continue to talk she asks him a question and he replies with something she knows is not the right answer…thats why i think its still joe black, pretending to be coffee shop guy. But having said that susan can’t continue to have a relationship with DEATH itself! after all death just took the body of the coffee shop guy! Maybe it is the coffee shop guy afterall!

  14. LaurenRoseUK says:

    My words could not do this song justice as to how it makes me feel…just pure emotion. nice work ha xxx

  15. MrSouthey says:

    @narinda The first one. He says to her “You’ll always have what you had at the coffee shop” or something like that.

  16. blahhhhhhhhh23 says:

    @narinda ya im confused too……

  17. narinda says:

    @Trevhud95 i also watched it again last night but one thing i couldn’t understand was at the end of the movie when joe black walks over the bridge with bill and then comes walking back on his own towards susan did he switch souls with the coffee shop guy or is it still joe black??

  18. Trevhud95 says:

    @Fiona4377 I know what you mean. I watched this movie for the first time a couple of nights ago, and I went out the same night after getting this song on my iPod, and watched the sun rise over the city I live in while listening to it. Beautiful, but haunting at the same time.
