can i substitute 5w-30 oil with 10w-40 in snow blower?…. snowblower oil?

just ran out of snow blower oil … can i substitute 5w-30 oil with 10w-40. i only have 10w-40 at home and it is snowing … will it hurt my engine for the new snowblower ????

Snow blower won’t start? Flooded engine? Any suggestions?

Why do snow blower engines turn over so easy?

why do snow blower engines ,mostly tecumseh , turn over so easy compared to other engines like a briggs lawn mower engine? i am a mechanic and i know that engines need compression and the amount that snowblower engines have seem like it wont run. do they have a compression relase or something?

Murray 24″ 2 Stage Snow Blower Engine Mod

This was a eBay find. Murray Snow Blower with a Hole in the Block. I changed out the engine to a Central Machine 6.5HP OHV Engine from Harbor Freight. Fit Great! Not Bad for $150 Bucks and a hour of work!
