My snowblower suddenly stopped working. Its chord won’t pull and ignition won’t work. What’s wrong?

I have a Toro snowblower with a Tecumseh power engine. It is 2 years old. I used it today for half hour to clear the snow and then it suddenly stopped. I tried to pull the starter chord but it won’t pull. I also tried to use electric ignition and it won’t start.

What should I do?

  1. John says:

First look to make sure nothing got caught in the auger, then make sure the auger is disengaged, they are hard to pull over if not.Now check your oil,you might have seized the engine!

  2. John from Ct. says:

sounds like you seized the motor, lack of oil is probably the cause.
