    try putting a spacer block under the carb .. that did it for me..

    A spacer is a good idea, use one that is “phenolic”, they don’t transfer heat.

    make sure that the fuel you are using is not oxygenated or contains alcohol. this type of fuel has a different vapor pressure and density and can cause vapor lock at moderate temps (some resorts or jobbers still have winter blended fuel in the spring, this has a high alcohol content, notice that most vapor lock happens early in the year!)

    Vent the gas tank better.

    Use an electric fuel pump. Mount it away from where it is hot. It will provide a steady stream of cool fuel to the engine.
