how can i make a go kart with a snowblower engine?

i had a go kart with an engine but the crank case shattered so im gonna put my snow blower engine on it. the engine is 5 speed and has reverse which is the part that confuses me. can i just put a new clutch on it so it idles and mount it? is there anything else i should do? the engines a Tecumseh that must be at least 50 years old but it runs strongish…
why not just tape the snowblower to the back of the go kart and remove the need to do any mechanical work
if the centrifugal clutch bolts up to the motor an lines up with every thing then you should be good but the motor mount may need to be moved
